Bill May of Butler will present “Civil War Photographs in 3-D — Part II” at 7 p.m. Wednesday in the Butler YWCA, 120 W. Cunningham St.

The program is free and open to the public and sponsored by the Butler County Civil War Roundtable.

During the Civil War, 90 percent of all photographs were shot as stereo images.

When viewed with a 19th century stereo viewer, these images were brought to life with a 3-D effect.
