North Regional Chamber elects 7 new directors

WEXFORD — The Pittsburgh North Regional Chamber has elected seven directors to its board, including four new members.

New directors chosen for four year terms are Terry Anderson of College Nannies+Tutors; John Tubridy of Fran/Net; John McCool, owner of Legal Shield and Identity Theft Protection; and Dr. Dan Turo of Turo Family Chiropractic.

The three incumbents elected are Bruce Goodman, Farmers National Bank of Emlenton; Mike Hall, General Rental Center; and Tony Lombard, TEC Benefits.

A lifelong Harmony and Zelienople resident, Hall is a second generation family businessman with General Rental Center. Hall has been involved in various chambers for more than 15 years.

He is the chairman of the events and planning committee.

Anderson is the owner and general manager of College Nannies+Tutors. She has a business degree and 30 years of experience in areas such as banking, finance and health care.

Goodman specializes in commercial lending, including equipment and real estate structuring, with Farmers National Bank. He also works with clients in mergers and acquisitions and treasury management.

Goodman is on the executive committee of the chamber and serves as treasurer.

Cranberry resident Lombard is a Pittsburgh native who works for TEC Benefits, an independent insurance firm that specializes in health insurance. Lombard is involved with several nonprofit organizations, civil boards and other committees.

He is entering his third year as a board member with the chamber.

McCool, one of the co-owners of Legal Shield and Identity Theft Protection, is a past president of Big Brothers, Big Sisters of Butler County, a former Sunday School teacher and has been a high school volleyball coach and youth soccer coach.

He was an elementary school teacher for 35 years. He’s also volunteered for many different nonprofits and is president of the Butler Toastmasters.

Tubridy is an owner/adviser with Fran/Net and has more than 30 years in business, notably development, sales and marketing. He has been active with the chamber during the past 10 years, serving on multiple committees.

Turo is the owner and operator of Turo Family Chiropractic, a family practice devoted to health care for back and spinal issues.

The Pittsburgh North Regional Chamber has more than 1,100 members along the business corridor that connects Allegheny, Beaver and Butler counties.

Its board of directors has 21 members and is headquartered in Wexford with a satellite office in Cranberry Township.
