Ronald Black

Ronald R. Black, 76, of Saxonburg passed away Sunday at his home.

Born on May 4, 1937, in Butler, he was the son of Raymond R. Black and Nancy Elnora Shidler Black.

Ron served in the U.S. Navy from 1956 to 1962.

He worked as a traffic manager for International Staple and had also worked at the Butler Auto Auction.

He was a member of the Westminster Presbyterian Church in Sarver, and a lifetime member of the Harley-Davidson HOG Club and the Sunset Riders for 20 years. He loved his dogs, riding motorcycles and watching NASCAR.

Surviving are his wife, Marie Wylie Roberts Black, who he married on Nov. 5, 1965; his daughter, Rhonda (Sherman) Stanley of Lake City, Fla.; his stepson, Kent L. (Lucy) Roberts of Saxonburg; his sister, Shirley (Jim) Fetterhoff of Valencia; his brother, Jerry (Stephanie) Black of Oil City; his four grandchildren, Gwynne, Andrea, Nicole and Tre's, and his five great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his sister, Nancy Fry, and his brother, David Black

BLACK — There will be no visitation for Ronald R. Black, who passed away Sunday, Nov. 3, 2013.
