Gov. hopeful to donate $15,000
HARRISBURG — Democratic gubernatorial hopeful Tom Wolf says he’ll donate cash to food banks instead of hosting one of the many receptions surrounding the upcoming Pennsylvania Society dinner in New York City.
In a letter to supporters Monday, the wealthy York resident said he plans to contribute $5,000 apiece to food banks in Philadelphia, Harrisburg and Pittsburgh.
