John Michael Tsagaris, 59, of Virginia Beach passed away Sunday at Chesapeake General Hospital, Chesapeake, Va.

Born on March 4, 1954, in Butler, he was the son of the late Michael John and Martha Louise (Pappas) Tsagaris.

John was a 1972 graduate of Knoch High School. He graduated magna cum laude from Washington and Jefferson College in 1976, where he was a member of the Phi Gamma Delta fraternity. John also attended Gordon Conwell Theological Seminary in 1976. John was a member of the Annunciation of the Virgin Mary Greek Orthodox Church in New Kensington, Pa.

Surviving are his brother, Peter Tsagaris of Virginia Beach, Va., and his sister, Irene Tsagaris of Virginia Beach, Va.

Tsagaris — There will be no visitation or services for John Michael Tsagaris, who passed away Sunday, Oct. 27, 2013. Interment will be in North Side Cemetery, Butler.

The Fox Funeral Home, Saxonburg, is assisting the family with arrangements.
