Marie Elizabeth Rider, 89, of Parker, formerly of West Sunbury, passed away at 2:01 p.m. Sunday at the Parker Personal Care Home, where she had lived for some time.

Born on April 10, 1924, in West Sunbury, she was the daughter of the late Samuel Edgar and Clara Snyder Rider.

A devout reader of her Holy Bible, she was long affiliated with the West Sunbury Presbyterian Church.

Surviving are a number of nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Lois Hollenbeck, and her two brothers, Vern and Dean L. Rider.
