Ellen Lucille (Boyd) Hogue
Ellen Lucille (Boyd) Hogue, 87, formerly of Portersville, passed away Thursday morning at the Sunnyview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
Born on Feb. 23, 1926, near Isle in Butler County, she was the daughter of the late Fred and Margaret English Boyd.
She was a Baptist.
Ellen retired from housekeeping. She enjoyed spending time with her family and playing bingo.
She is survived by her daughters, Barb Hogue of Portersville, Deb McCrumb of Portersville and her companion, Rich Turner, of Chicora; her one grandson, Jim (Betty) Frankenstein of Zelienople; her two great-granddaughters, Jenna and Sara Frankenstein; her four brothers; her sister; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Hogue, who passed away June 7, 1974; her three brothers; and four sisters.
HOGUE — The friends of Ellen Lucille (Boyd) Hogue, who passed away Thursday, Oct. 17, 2013, will be received from 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday at theEdward L. Raisley Funeral Home, 387 Main St., Prospect. The funeral service will follow the visitation at 4 p.m. Sunday in the funeral home with the Pastor Ben Oesterling from the Mt. Zion Baptist Church, Prospect, officiating.
Interment will be in Greenlawn Burial Estates, Mt. Chestnut.
