Kathleen Agnes Rohlik Boehmig

Boehmig

Kathleen Agnes Rohlik Boehmig, 51, of Butler, formerly of Minnesota, died unexpectedly Saturday.

She was born on May 4, 1962, in Redwood Falls, Minn., to John and Clara Rohlik.

She attended school in Vesta, Minn., and graduated from Wabasso High School in 1980. After graduating from high school she attended Hutchinson Vo-Tech to study early child education. While in Hutchinson, she met Howard Boehmig Jr. and they married at the Holy Name Catholic Church in Vesta on April 23, 1982. Kathy then moved to Butler and there she raised her two beautiful daughters, Theresa Marie and Stephanie Ashton.

Kathy’s love for life and the people around her was endless. Her family meant the world to her, and she showed that love over and over with her daily phone calls and her yearly trips back home. Kathy loved going to thrift stores, estate sales, gardening, and trips to the casino with her friends. She enjoyed crocheting and cross-stitching, but most of all Kathy loved spending time with her children and her grandchildren.

No one was a bigger Vikings fan than her, and she adored anything John Deere. Kathy’s hugs were bigger than her, and if you met her once, you were immediately her friend.

She is survived by her two daughters, Theresa (Eric) Kriberney and Stephanie and her special friend, Matt Field; her grandchildren, Mason Eric and Ellie Marie Kriberney; her siblings, John (Holly) Rohlik of Vesta, Minn., Bernie (Bruce) Bowman of Montevideo, Minn., Therese (Ken) Iverson of Echo, Minn., James (Laurie) Rohlik of Hutchinson, Minn., Brian (Amy) Rohlik of Vesta, Minn., David (Gina) Rohlik of Mantorville, Minn., and Shelly (Jack) Sagedahl of Wabasso, Minn. She also is survived by 24 nieces and nephews; 15 great-nieces and nephews, and numerous cousins and aunts and uncles. She was blessed with many friends from Minnesota to Pennsylvania.

She is preceded in death by her father, John Rohlik Sr., and her nephew, Alan Iverson.

Blessed be her memory.
