Grace McCall
Grace McCall, 91, of Cabot passed away Tuesday at Concordia in Cabot.
She was born on Jan. 15, 1922, in Butler, the daughter of the late Joseph and Lena (Kradel) Daller.
Grace was a lifetime member of the St. Mark's Lutheran Church, where she sang in the choir for 40 years. She taught Sunday school for 42 years, and was a member of the King's Daughters Sunday School Class. She was a member of the Maqueda Chapter of Eastern Star, Court of Amaranth and the White Shrine.
In her early years, she worked at the Shell Shop at Pullman Standard during World War II.
She enjoyed crocheting and doing crafts.
Surviving are her two daughters, Carolyn Weisenstein and Beverly Elaine Cannon, both of Butler; her four grandchildren, Keith Weisenstein Jr., Kandy (Josh) Baker, Korey (Christy) Weisenstein and Krystal (Mike) King; her nine great-grandchildren; her sister, Alice DeSantis of Butler; and a number of nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John A. “Red” McCall, who died Oct. 11, 1996; her granddaughter, Beth Ann Huselton; her brother, George Daller; and a sister, Mildred Rhoades.
MCCALL — The friends of Grace McCall, who passed away Tuesday, Oct. 8, 2013, will be received at the Young Funeral Home, 127 W. Jefferson St., Butler, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today. The services will be at the St. Mark's Evangelical Lutheran Church, 201 W. Jefferson St., Butler, at 1:30 p.m. Friday with Aaron Minister Carol Fleeger.
