IRWIN — Nude pictures of several girls at a Western Pennsylvania high school were posted on a pornography website that has since been taken down as police investigate who posted the images and whether any laws were broken.
North Huntingdon police Chief Andrew Lisiecki says he's contacted state and federal agents about the pictures of the girls from Norwin High School.
The police chief says the website in question is one that plucks photos from social media sites like Facebook and Twitter.
PITTSBURGH — A prosecutor won't seek the death penalty against a University of Pittsburgh researcher charged with fatally poisoning his neurologist wife with cyanide.Allegheny County District Attorney Stephen Zappala Jr. says his staff researched whether poisoning might amount to “torture,” which would be grounds for pursuing the death penalty against 65-year-old Dr. Robert Ferrante. But Zappala say the case has no aggravating circumstances that make it a capital offense.
