James E. Nesbitt
James Erwin Nesbitt, 74, of Murrysville died Friday.
He was born July 9, 1939, in Ellwood City, son of the late Erwin Leroy and Ruth Kildoo Rogner Nesbitt.
He was a retired associate professor of research for the University of Pittsburgh with 34 years of service. Jim loved to play in the Murrysville Senior Softball League.
He was preceded in death by an infant son, Benjamin; and a twin sister, Jean Thompson.
Jim is survived by his wife, Lois Dallmeyer Nesbitt; one son, Robin James Nesbitt of York; one daughter, Bonnie Ruth Nesbitt of New York City; one brother, Robert (Linda) Cunningham of California; a twin sister, Jane Nesbitt; and two nieces, Trisha Dalton and Korie Thompson, both of Butler.
