Tina M. Venderlic

Tina M. Venderlic, 53, of Freeport passed away Thursday while in the company of friends and family members at VNA Inpatient Hospice.

Tina was born on Jan. 10, 1960, in Natrona Heights, Pa., a daughter of Dorothy N. (Ward) Booher of Freeport and the late Kenneth W. Booher.

Tina worked as an assembler at Penn United in Cabot for the past two and a half years. She had also worked in the office of Zimmer Misner in Springdale for 10 years. Before that she worked as a secretary for Oberg Industries in Sarver for 10 years. Tina was a volunteer with Habitat for Humanity, and helped raise money for various charities around the area, including the Hope Center in New Kensington. She loved her dogs and enjoyed going to her camp in Tionesta. She enjoyed watching HGTV and baking, especially desserts and cookies. She was a very passionate Steelers fan, and she always enjoyed spending time with family and friends.

Along with her mother, Tina is survived by her husband of 32 years, Michael B. Venderlic; her brother and sister-in-law, Frank D. and Margie Booher of Freeport, and her sister and brother-in-law, Debra and Ron Roush Sr. of Sarver. Tina also is survived by her yellow Lab, Brooke, and was loved by all her nieces and nephews, and her numerous great-nieces and great-nephews.

Venderlic —The family and friends of Tina M. Venderlic, who passed away Thursday, Oct. 3, 2013, will be received from 1 to 3 and 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday at the Redmond Funeral Home, 524 High St., Freeport. A funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Monday in the funeral home, with the Rev. Dr. Page L. D. Creach of the Freeport United Presbyterian Church officiating.Burial will be held in St. Mary's Cemetery, Freeport.In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to ALS Association, Western PA Chapter 416 Lincoln Ave., Pittsburgh, PA 15209.
