Gladys L. Balkovec, formerly of Braddock Hills, passed away Monday.

She was the beloved wife of the late Joseph.

She was the mother of Linda (Derek) Craig, Sandy Balkovec and Joseph (Pam) Balkovec; the dear grandmother of Michael, Lauren, Ellen and Randy; the great-grandmother of Nathan and Ava; and the sister of Margaret Hopkins, Marian Resetar, Bonnie Piper and the late Carl, Cyril and Ray Plate.

BALKOVEC — The family and friends of Gladys L. Balkovec, who passed away Monday, Sept. 30, 2013, will be received at the ROBERT P. KARISH FUNERAL HOME, 1300 Fourth St., Pittsburgh, from 11 a.m. until the time of the blessing service at 1 p.m.
