Reinhold J. Dally Jr.
Reinhold J. Dally Jr., 79, of Butler died Sunday evening at the Butler Memorial Hospital.
Born Feb. 26, 1934, in Chicora, he was a son of the late Reinhold J. Dally Sr. and Ruth (Mays) Lackey.
He worked as a fitter for the Pullman Standard Car Company in Butler, for 17 years. He was a member of St. Paul Roman Catholic Church in Butler, was also at greeter at St. Paul's, was a member of the Associated Artists of Butler County, and loved to draw and paint, as he won a third-place award at the Butler County Music and Arts Festival during the 1970s, and had enjoyed doing yard work.
A veteran of the U.S. Army, he was in the military police, where he served in San Francisco at the Presidio.
Surviving are his wife, Angela M. (Miano) Dally, who he married Nov. 7, 1959; his two daughters, Cheryl (Clyde) Jones of Slippery Rock and Lisa (Ken) McClaine of Columbus, Ind.; his three grandchildren, Kayla, Kevin and Lucy McClaine; his brother, Robert (Ruth Ann) Dally of Butler, and his grand dog, Cassie.
DALLY — Friends of Reinhold J. Dally Jr., 79, of Butler, who died Sunday, Sept. 29, 2013, will be received at Geibel Funeral Home, 201 E. Cunningham St., Butler, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Paul Roman Catholic Church, 128 N. McKean St., Butler. Interment will follow in St. Joseph's Cemetery, North Oakland.St. Paul's Catholic Women and Christian Mother's will meet at 9:40 a.m. Thursday at the church to recite the rosary.In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Paul Roman Catholic Church, 128 N.
