Jerry J. Reesman Sr.
Jerry J. Reesman Sr., 79, of Kittanning died Thursday in the VNA Inpatient Hospice.
Born on July 28, 1934, in Manor Township, he was the son of the late Matthew Parsley and Dorothy Reesman.
A veteran of the U.S. Army, he served during the Korean War.
Mr. Reesman was a construction worker and was employed by Pullman Standard and Widenhoffer Garage, both in Butler.
He loved his pickup truck and his Harley Davidson motorcycle. He enjoyed hunting and playing the harmonica and guitar. Later in life, his greatest joy was reading his Bible.
He is survived by his children, Kathy (Gary) Dittman of Chicora, Jerry Jack Reesman Jr. of Butler and Barbie Jo Richardson of Butler; five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren, and his companion, Susan Graham of Zelienople.
REESMAN — The friends of Jerry J. Reesman Sr., who died Thursday, Sept. 26, 2013, will be welcomed from 1 p.m. until the time of services at 3 p.m. Sunday in the WELCH FUNERAL HOME, 1032 Fourth Ave., Ford City.
