Norman Gordon

Norman J. Gordon Jr., 58, of Butler passed away Thursday at Butler Memorial Hospital.

He was born on Nov. 20, 1954, in Butler, the son of the late Norman J. Gordon Sr. and Aline (Dufford) Gordon.

He was an avid motorcyclist, hunter, fisherman and outdoorsman.

He married his wife, Karen, on Aug. 6, 1999, while on a motorcycle trip in Sturgiss, S.D., on their Harley. He worked as a crane operator at AK Steel for 26 years.

Norman was a U.S. Marine veteran.

Surviving are his wife, Karen (LeFebvre) Reed of Butler; a daughter, Brandy Lynn (Michael) Bartz of Shaler; two sons, Jarrod Gordon of Melbourne, Fla., and Landon Gordon at home; three grandchildren, Aiden Fischer, Michael Bartz Jr. and Faith Gordon; a sister, Lynn (Charlie) Kamerer of Holly Hill; three aunts, Teen Dufford, Beryl Miller and Pat Kreig, all of Florida; an uncle, David Dufford and his wife, Cindy, of West Sunbury; his in-laws, Regis and Delores LeFebvre of Portersville; and a number of nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

GORDON — A gathering of friends and family to celebrate the life of Norman J.
