Charles H. Beattie Jr., 88, of Cranberry Township passed away Tuesday.

He was the beloved husband of 66 years of Laura M. (Stephens) Beattie; father of Laura M. Beam (John), Cathy L. Miller (Tom), Alice C. McClelland (Robert) and Charles H. Beattie III; the brother of Walter Beattie and the late Winnie Postell; the grandfather of Donna McClaine, Tabitha Beam, John Beam, Gwen Holdman (Bryan) and Elaine Clayton (Danny), and 12 great-grandchildren.

BEATTIE — The friends of Charles H. Beattie Jr., who died Tuesday, Sept. 10, 2013, will be received at the DEVLIN FUNERAL HOME, 2678 Rochester Road, Cranberry Township, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. today. Funeral services will be at 11:30 a.m. Friday at the Dutilh United Methodist Church, 1270 Dutilh Road, Cranberry Township. Interment will follow at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies.
