Martha Jane (Jones) Sybert

Martha Jane (Jones) Sybert, 80, of Renfrew passed away Thursday as a result of a motor vehicle accident in Indiana County.

She was born on April 15, 1933, in Natrona Heights to the late John Jones and Susan (Christy) Jones.

Mrs. Sybert was a homemaker and a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses of Unionville. She loved her plants and her pet dog, Lucky.

Mrs. Sybert is survived by three sons, Matthew “Bill” Sybert of Butler, Leonard Sybert and his wife, Robyn, of Chicora and Dennis Sybert and his wife, Amy, of Cabot; eight grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Richard O. “Rip” Sybert, who she married June 11, 1955, and who passed away Oct. 26, 1996; three sons, Thomas, Richard and Daniel Sybert; two sisters; and one brother.

SYBERT — The friends of Martha Jane (Jones) Sybert, who passed away Thursday, Sept. 5, 2013, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today at the Thompson-Miller Funeral Home, 124 E. North St., Butler.Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home with Elder Victor Perry of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses of Unionville officiating. Burial will take place in the Greenlawn Burial Estates.In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations be made the Muscular Dystrophy Association (MDA), 400 Penn Center Blvd., Suite 524, Pittsburgh, PA 15235.Online condolences can be given at www.thompson-miller.com.
