Marlene 'Pinky' Townsend Newman
Marlene “Pinky” Townsend Newman, 73, of Gibsonia passed away unexpectedly but peacefully Aug. 23 at her home.
She was a homemaker and enjoyed bingo and going to casinos.
She was a member of Hampton's Women's Auxiliary and proud founder of “The Coffee Ladies” of ENP.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Edward “Pug” Newman.
She will be sadly missed by her sons, Don Newman of Butler, Denny (Trish) Newman of Evans City and Dan Newman of Ohio; her daughter, Debbie Pike of Gibsonia; her brothers, Charles (Anna Mae) Townsend of Allison Park, Philip (Deb) Townsend of Butler, Ray (Tammy) Townsend of Parker and Michael (Dar) Townsend of Rimersburg; her sisters, Rosanne Wylie of Butler and Cheryl Gordan of Butler; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, many other relatives and friends.
NEWMAN — Services with a luncheon for Marlene “Pinky” Townsend Newman, who passed away Friday, Aug. 23, 2013, will be at 9:30 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 14, 2013, at St. Catherine's of Sweden Church, 2554 Wildwood Road, Wildwood, Pa.
