Russell Martin heads into the dugout to be congratulated by his teammates after hitting the first of two home runs in Tuesday night's National League wild card game. The solo homer put the Pittsburgh Pirates up 2-0 over the Cincinnati Reds. Francisco Liriano pitched seven strong innings in the Pirates' 6-2 victory. The Pirates, left out of the playoffs since 1992, will travel to St. Louis for the first game of the NL division series on Thursday.
