Nellie J. McGregor, 69, of Butler passed away peacefully at 6:30 p.m. Monday at her home surrounded by her family.

She was born on June 3, 1944, in Fenelton, the daughter of the late Frank Nicholas Englehart and the late Marie (Perkins) Englehart.

Nellie was a member of the Fenelton United Methodist Church and the Crimson Chapeau Cuties. She was a retired case worker for the Department of Public Welfare for 33 years.

She enjoyed gardening and flowers, shopping and spending time with her family.

Surviving are two daughters, Shelley (Russ) Hogue of Slippery Rock and Michelle Englehart at home; two sons, Bruce (Rhonda) McGregor of Fenelton and Tim (Louann) McGregor of Fenelton; seven grandchildren, Jen Brison, Erin Sherrouse, Lauren, Sean, and Shane McGregor and Dalton and Connor Hogue; and six great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by one brother.

MCGREGOR — Friends of Nellie J. McGregor, who passed away Monday, Aug. 26, 2013, will be received at the Young Funeral Home, 127 W. Jefferson St., Butler, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday.

Services will be at the Fenelton United Methodist Church, 810 Clearfield Road, Fenelton, at 10 a.m. Friday, with Pastor Sheila Auer officiating. Interment will be private.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Fenelton United Methodist Church, c/o Pastor Sheila Auer, 123 Beagle Club Road, Worthington, PA 16262.
