Baby sitters train in Slippery RockSLIPPERY ROCK — The Butler County Parks and Recreation Department will conduct an American Red Cross baby sitter’s training class from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Oct. 14 at Slippery Rock Area Parks and Recreation. Oct. 14 is a school holiday.The class is for ages 11 to 15. Emphasis will be on prevention, safety, responsibility, leadership and professionalism.Registration is required due to class size limits.
