PENN TWP — Dollar General will celebrate the opening of its new location at 379 Pittsburgh Road at 8 a.m. Saturday.

There will be prizes, and the first 50 adult shoppers at the store will receive a $10 Dollar General gift card and the first 200 shoppers will receive a Dollar General tote bag, among other giveaways.

Traditional Dollar General stores employ about six to 10 people.

Dollar General stores provides a focused selection of national and private brands of food, housewares, seasonal items, basic apparel and health/beauty products. Seasonal products are displayed in the center of the store, and departments are recognizable with signs.

MARS — Finn Chiropractic Group has a grand opening on Saturday of its new office at 179 Scharberry Lane, beside Luciano's on Route 228.At the opening will be a Carnival of Wishes with activities running from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Proceeds will benefit Make-A-Wish of Greater Pennsylvania and West Virginia.The carnival will have food, games, prizes, a bounce house, face painting and entertainment.

PITTSBURGH — Westinghouse Electric is dropping health insurance provided by Highmark.Westinghouse spokesman Vaughn Gilbert says the decision came from the desire to have all its insurance under one company, which will now be Aetna, based in Hartford, Conn.Previously thousands of Westinghouse employees were enrolled with Pittsburgh-based Highmark, and others were already with Aetna. Westinghouse has 14,000 employees nationally, with about 5,600 of those in the Pittsburgh area, which is its corporate home.Highmark, Pennsylvania's largest insurer, says that it's still exceeding membership goals on national accounts.

TORRANCE, Calif. — Toyota is recalling 615,000 Sienna minivans in the U.S. because they can inadvertently shift out of park and roll away.The recall involves Siennas from the 2004, 2005, 2007, 2008 and 2009 models years.Toyota said Thursday that the shift locking device can potentially be damaged.Toyota said it has gotten reports of 21 accidents and 2 injuries related to the problem.Owners will be notified of the recall by mail.
