Catherine Marie (O'Brien) Lee, 93, of Mars, formerly of Evans City, passed away Monday while under the care of St. John's Specialty Care Center.

Born on Aug. 31, 1919, in Adams Township, she was the daughter of the late Michael Joseph and Anna (Campbell) O'Brien.

Mrs. Lee was a former member of St. Kilian Parish where she served as a Christian Mother and in the Women's Guild. In addition, she was a former member of the Mars AARP and Evans City Sixty Plus.

She is survived by her son, Joseph G. Lee and his wife, Mary Jane, of Zelienople; her two granddaughters, Jan Stanger of Cranberry Township and Meredith Lanasa and her husband, Neil, of Wexford; her three great-grandchildren, Justin Stanger, Mia Lanasa and Mallory Lanasa, and niece, Marilyn Jane O'Brien.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, George H. Lee, who passed away on July 3, 1980, and her brother, Joseph O'Brien.

LEE — The family of Catherine Marie (O'Brien) Lee, who passed away Monday, Aug. 19, 2013, will welcome friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the Boylan Funeral Home, 116 E. Main St., Evans City.A blessing service will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Friday at the funeral home with Father Charles S. Bober, celebrant.
