Reid F. 'Dick' Miller

Reid F. “Dick” Miller, 76, of Zelienople, formerly of Saxonburg, passed away Saturday while in the comfort of his home.

Born on July 28, 1937, in Pittsburgh, he was the son of the late E. Reid and Gertrude (Gerber) Miller.

Dick was a former longtime member of the Jefferson Center Presbyterian Church in Saxonburg, and more recently he attended the St. John's Burry's Church in Rochester.

Dick and his wife, Bonnie, owned and operated a dairy farm for many years. He also worked for H.P. Starr on Route 8 in equipment sales.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory, his loving wife of 46 years, Bonnie (Muntz) Miller; his three children, Craig Miller and his wife, Lisa, of North Dakota, Lynn Tweed of Ellwood City and Trudy Grubbs and her husband, Don, of Harlansburg, Pa.; his grandchildren, Adalia, Ella, Jacob, Charolette and Everett Miller and Michael, Tommy and Sam Tweed; his cousins, Virginia Martin, Barb Rogers, Mary Lou Church and her husband, Jerry; and his cousin-in-law, Don Kildoo.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his cousin, Betty Kildoo.

MILLER — A memorial service for Reid F. “Dick” Miller, who passed away Saturday, Aug. 17, 2013, will be at 7 p.m. Wednesday at the St. John's Burry's Church, 1835 Route 68, Rochester, PA 15074.Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Boylan Funeral Home, 324 E. Grandview Ave., Zelienople.In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in memory of Dick to the Jefferson Center Presbyterian Church, 390 Frazier Road, Saxonburg, PA 16056 or to the St. John's Burry's Church, 1835 Route 68, Rochester, PA 15074 in support of their foods resource bank.Expressions of sympathy may be shared with Dick's family at www.boylanfuneralhome.com.
