Sandra Jean Kirk Rotz
Sandra Jean Kirk Rotz, 75, of Butler passed away Monday at VNA Inpatient Hospice following a 10-month illness.
Born in Butler on Oct. 28, 1937, she was the daughter of the late Paul and Helen Stelbotsky Kirk.
She was retired from Castle Rubber Company, where she worked as a lathe operator for 17 years.
She was an avid computer bingo player, who also enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.
She was a member of St. Paul Roman Catholic Church.
She is survived by two daughters, Ana Maria Rotz of Butler and Kimberly R. Werner and her husband, Kenneth, of Chicora; one son, Michael A. Rotz and his wife, Joann, of Mars; one brother, William J. Kirk of Butler; two sisters, Paulette Bowen and her husband, David, of Butler and Marsha Burns of Butler, and three grandchildren, Aaron A. Werner of Chicora, Taylor N. Rotz of Mars and Dylan M. Rotz of Mars.
She also is survived by her faithful dog, Macy.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Anthony A. Rotz, who passed away Feb. 12, 2004; three brothers, Dean Kirk, Paul Kirk and Robert Kirk, and one sister, Patricia Reott.
ROTZ — Friends of Sandra Jean Kirk Rotz, who passed away Monday, Aug. 12, 2013, will be received in Martin Funeral Home, Inc., 429 Center Ave., Butler, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday.A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Friday at St. Paul Roman Catholic Church.Burial will take place in Calvary Cemetery.Members of St. Paul Catholic Women and Christian Mothers will meet at the church at 9:35 a.m. Friday to recite the rosary.For more information, go to www.martinfh.net.
