Josephine G. Eck
Josephine G. Eck, 93, of East Brady died Tuesday morning at Clarview Nursing Home in Sligo.
Born Oct. 18, 1919, in Brockport, she was the daughter of Battista and Euginia (Pedrini) Marchiori.
On Aug. 16, 1958, Josephine married Darl R. Eck. He survives.
Josephine worked for Sylvania Corporation in Emporium for 15 years and later at Bracken's Pharmacy in East Brady for nine years.
She was a member of St. Eusebius Roman Catholic Church, East Brady.
Josephine enjoyed oil painting and was an avid gardener.
Surviving are her husband, Darl R. Eck of East Brady; two sons, John E. Eck of East Brady and Paul F. Eck of Bradys Bend Township; one granddaughter, Lexi Armstrong of Summerville, S.C.; two sisters, Eva Marchiori of Brockport and Jean Marchiori of East Brady; and one brother, Robert Marchiori and his wife, Ann, of Brockport.
Josephine was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, Mario, Frank and her twin, Louis Marchiori; and one sister, Flora Battitori.
ECK — Friends of Josephine G. Eck, who died Tuesday, Aug. 13, 2013, will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the Charles B. Buechele Funeral Home, 105 Fourth St., East Brady.A parish prayer service will be held at 3:30 p.m. Thursday in the funeral home.A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Friday at St. Eusebius Roman Catholic Church with the Rev.
