GROVE CITY — Grove City High School senior Matt Gordon has been named Region 3 Golfer of the Year.

Three Slippery Rock golfers — senior Matt Badger, junior Zac McCue and sophomore Sam Isacco — were named second team all-region.

SLIPPERY ROCK — Slippery Rock University, Dick’s Sportsplex and North Boundary Park will host the 2014 US Youth Soccer Region I (East) President’s Cup May 23-26.This will be one of four regional tournaments held across the country.Winners of each region — featuring U-13 through U-17 divisions — advance to the US Youth Soccer National President’s Cup July 10-13 in Greenville, S.C.
