Nancy F. Smith
Nancy F. Smith, 76, of Evans City passed away Friday at UPMC Passavant after a short battle with lung cancer.
Born Aug. 15, 1936, in Wilkinsburg, she was the daughter of Robert Cahall and Winifred Hollobaugh Cahall.
Nancy was a sales associate for Wal-Mart in Cranberry for the past 17 years.
She was an active member of the Crestview Community Presbyterian Church in Callery. She enjoyed traveling, disaster mission work throughout the United States and especially spending time with her grandchildren.
Nancy was the devoted wife of 57 years to Clarke J. Smith, who she married Dec. 5, 1955; one son, Clarke J. “Jim” (Joyce) Smith Jr. of Pittsburgh; one daughter, Tracey (Kevin) Lark of Valencia; her brothers and sisters, Charles Cahall of Callery, Ron Cahall of Evans City, Ray Cahall of Raleigh, N.C., and Dolores McCandless of Mars, and her grandchildren, Ben Pink, Joshua Lark, Ian Lark and Tori Lark.
She was preceded in death by her parents; four brothers, Robert Cahall, Kenneth Cahall, Chester Cahall and James Cahall; and three sisters, Esther Emmett, Eleanor Wilson and Loretta “Sis” Cahall.
SMITH — There will be no visitation for Nancy F. Smith, who passed away Friday, Aug. 2, 2013. A memorial service will be at 7 p.m. Wednesday at the Crestview Community Presbyterian Church with the Rev.
