Kenneth DeWayne Hall

Kenneth DeWayne Hall, 68, of West Sunbury passed away at 7:37 p.m. Wednesday at his home following an extended illness.

He was born Jan. 18, 1945, in West Sunbury. He was the son of the late Kenneth Mahood Hall and the late Mary Anne Nazar Hall.

He was a member of the West Sunbury Presbyterian Church.

He was a machinist at Pullman Standard until it closed. Most recently he worked at his business, Ken Hall's Machine Shop in West Sunbury. He also was a retired deputy Pennsylvania game protector, and was a member of the Victory Lodge 694 and the Scottish Rite Valley of New Castle.

He is survived by his wife, Judith Shanor Hall, whom he married, Jan. 24, 1969; one daughter, Connie (Tom) Kilcoin of Boyers; two sons, Robert (Rhonda) Hall and Tim Hall, both of West Sunbury, and four grandchildren, Sean and Samantha Hall and Tori and Jacob Kilcoin.

Two sisters, Ruth Keller of Glenshaw and Charlene (Paul) Fabrizio of Monroeville; two brothers, Leslie E. (Delores) Hall of Petrolia and Charles Laverne (Marion) Hall of West Sunbury; his mother-in-law, Mary Ellen Shanor of Butler; several nieces and nephews, and his faithful companion, Bear, also survive.

HALL — Friends of Kenneth DeWayne Hall, who passed away Wednesday, July 31, 2013, will be received at the William F. Young Funeral Home, 132 Main St., West Sunbury from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday. Funeral services will be at the funeral home at 4 p.m. Sunday with the Rev. Brian Keller his nephew, officiating. Burial will be private.The family requests that memorial donations in his memory may be made to the Hunt of a Lifetime Foundation, P.O. Box 241, Harbor Creek, PA 16421.
