Josephine M. (Karcz) Tabisz, 84, of Richland Township passed away Monday from complications of myasthenia gravis while under the care of the Good Samaritan Hospice Unit at Concordia in Cabot.

Born Dec. 15, 1928, in Pittsburgh, she was the daughter of the late John and Frances Karcz. Josephine loved her family and enjoyed spending time with them.

She is survived by her two sons, Ed Tabisz of Sarver and Tim (Mary Lou) Tabisz of Middlesex Township; her four grandchildren, Jennifer, Tim, Greg and Hayleigh; and her two great-grandchildren, Matthew and Michael.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Edward J. Tabisz in 2001; her daughter, Sandy Tabisz in 2000; her granddaughter, Brandi in 2001; and her daughter-in-law, Wilma Tabisz in 2013.
