Judith M. Simons, 81, of Butler passed away peacefully Friday.

Judith was born on Feb. 23, 1932, at Kittanning Hospital, a daughter of the late Margaret and Charles Greene of Ford City.

She was the manager of the D&K Store in Butler for many years until it closed.

She enjoyed reading. She was an avid bingo player and also enjoyed going to casinos with her two sisters, Mary and Dottie.

Judith is survived by one son, Mark Simons and his wife, Patty, of Butler; two grandchildren, Jessica Simons and Justin Simons, both of Butler; two sisters, Mary Station of Kittanning and Carol McGinnis of Worthington; one aunt, Ann Ktchenreiter; and a number of nieces and nephews.

In additions to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James L. Simons, who died March 5, 2012; two sisters, Martha Jack and Dottie Neighley; and one nephew.
