Apparent seizure causes man's fall on sidewalk
A man was found unconscious in front of Natali Restaurant on South Main Street about 9:30 a.m. today.
Dan Gerken of Butler said he saw the man apparently having a seizure in front of the restaurant.
Gerken, who was driving a vehicle that was turning onto Main Street from East Wayne Street at the time, said he saw the man holding onto a street sign, shaking violently before he fell backward and hit his head on the sidewalk.
The man initially lost consciousness, according to Gerken, but appeared to be alert when Butler EMS arrived.
The Butler Fire Department also was there.
