Katherine Stepp

Katherine Stepp of Butler celebrated her 90th birthday with a family dinner at the Waterhole Restaurant in Harmony.

The former Katherine Hines was born Aug. 18, 1923, in Center Township.

She married the late Everett Stepp Sr. on Nov. 16, 1942, in West Virginia.

She has three children, the late Everett Stepp Jr., Shirley Fillgrove and Linda Speicher, all of Butler. She also has four grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Stepp, a bookkeeper, retired from the Moose Lodge and Butler Burial.

She is a member of St. Mark’s Lutheran Church; Order of the Eastern Star, Chapter 45; and the Meridian Fireman’s Auxiliary. She also is a lifetime member of Tanglewood Center.
