Janet Arlene Stutz (Lewis) of Westfield, Mass., died suddenly Wednesday at the Baystate Medical Center surrounded by her loving family.

Janet was born in Concrete, Wash., to Virginia McAllister and graduated high school in Concrete in 1952.

She was predeceased by her husband of 55 years, Ronald Stutz.

She is survived by her three children, Debra Lynn Miles and her husband, Patrick Miles, Donna Sue Pighetti and her husband, Karl Pighetti, and Douglas Ronald Stutz and his wife, Mary Ellen Stutz. She is also survived by seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren, David Borgatti, his wife, Sara Borgatti, and their two children, Nora and Lucas, all of Weymouth Mass.; Mark Borgatti of Londonderry, N.H.; Nicole Pighetti of Newport, R.I.; Shawn Pighetti of Westfield, Mass.; and Courtney Stutz, Chad Stutz and Chase Stutz, all of Southampton, Mass. Survivors also include her brother-in-law, Richard Rider, as well as her sister-in-law, Jean Stutz McKivigan, and many nieces and nephews.

Janet met her husband, Ronald, in Germany in 1953, and they wed in 1955 in Butler. She was a loving mother and grandmother to her children and all that knew her. Her greatest accomplishment in life was her family.

STUTZ — Funeral services for Janet Arlene Stutz, who died Wednesday, July 17, 2013, will be at 9 a.m. Monday at the Firtion-Adams Funeral Home, 76 Broad St., Westfield, Mass. A Mass will directly follow in Our Lady of the Blessed Sacrament Church at 10 a.m. Burial to follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery.
