Linda S. Sentgeorge

Linda S. Sentgeorge, 63, of Newport Road, Wampum, passed away Wednesday afternoon at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital.

Born Dec. 27, 1949, in Butler, she was the daughter of Ernest and Lila Fair Gobert.

Linda married Tim L. Sentgeorge on March 25, 1988.

After graduating from Butler High School, Linda went on to work as a registered representative/broker at Butler Wick and Co., which then became Stifel Nicolaus, a full service investment company.

Linda was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in New Castle and served on the Session and board of trustees. She served on the board of directors and was a volunteer for People in Need.

She also volunteered for the United Way in Mahoning County and the March of Dimes. Linda enjoyed cooking, shopping and the joy of her life, her granddaughter, Lexi.

In addition to her husband, Linda is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Laura and Bryan Gleghorn of Chippewa Township; a son, Tim M. Sentgeorge of Willoughby, Ohio; two brothers, Richard Gobert and Robert Gobert, both of Butler, and a granddaughter, Lexi Gleghorn.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Sentgeorge — A memorial service for Linda S. Sentgeorge, who died Wednesday, July 17, 2013, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, July 27, 2013, at the First Presbyterian Church, 125 N. Jefferson St., New Castle. Pastors Nathan Loudon and Cynthia Klingemeir will officiate. Burial will be in Oak Park Cemetery.Arrangements are by the R.
