Barbara J. Braham
Barbara J. Braham, 44, of South Main Street, Harrisville, died at 4:30 a.m. Monday in VNA Inpatient Hospice Butler after a three-week battle with cancer.
She was born on March 12, 1969, in Grove City to David W. “Buster” Braham and Susan M. Braham.
She attended Slippery Rock Lab School and then she attended Allegheny Valley School of Slippery Rock, where she worked in the lunch room.
She was a member of the St. Anthony Roman Catholic Church in Forestville.
She enjoyed bowling, swimming, dancing, playing games, spending time with family and friends, and she enjoyed time with her Sunday morning breakfast group.
She is survived by her mother, Susan M. Braham of Harrisville; two sisters, Lorri A. Spencer and her husband, Frederick, of Slippery Rock and Sherri L. Nedley and her husband, Alex, of St. Clair, Pa.; one brother, David C. Braham of Harrisville, and eight nieces and nephews and one great-niece.
She was preceded in death by her father and her grandparents.
Braham — Friends of Barbara J. Braham, who died Monday, July 15, 2013, will be received from 3 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at the Jamison Funeral Home, 117 N. Main St., Harrisville. A Mass of Christian burial will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at the St. Anthony Roman Catholic Church, Forestville, with the Rev. Kevin G. Poecking of the church as celebrant.
