Derek D. DiGregorio

In loving memory of my son, Derek DiGregorio, who was tragically taken from me ten years ago today, August 16, 2003.

It didn’t matter if he was hunting, fishing, playing hockey or basketball, spending time with his family and friends or even working, Derek lived every day to the fullest. That is what he was doing that Saturday morning when he headed to the family camp that he loved and enjoyed so much, to help get it ready for the annual family picnic that is no longer a tradition.

Even though it’s been ten years, it is so hard to believe he is gone and I miss him so much.

But in the end, it wasn’t the years in Derek’s life that counted, it was the life in his years.
