BUTLER TWP — The Butler County Parks and Recreation Department's last presentation in the Outdoor Discovery Series “How Does Your Garden Grow?” will be at 7 p.m. Thursday at the Carousel Shelter in Alameda Park.

Deb Mantes and Helen Barto, both Penn State master gardeners of Butler County, will tell how to get the best out of a garden with an emphasis on natural methods.

They will discuss soil health, why to grow vegetables and how to deal with pests and diseases.

Admission is free.
