Louise J. Craig, 88, of Harrisville, formerly of Boyers, passed away at 9:05 p.m. Thursday at the Trinity Living Center, Grove City, due to an extended illness.

She was born on Nov. 22, 1924, in Hilliards to Charles McKean and Esther Hoover McKean-Mitchell.

She was married on Nov. 26, 1941, to Victor Charles Craig, who passed on Jan. 9, 1993.

She was a homemaker and a Roman Catholic.

Louise liked spending time with her family and friends. She also enjoyed flowers and gardening.

She is survived by four children, Delores Metheney and her husband, Albert, of Meadville, Shirley Belcher and her husband, Thomas, of Grove City, Victor “Gordie” Craig and his wife, Nanci, of Harrisville and Karen Nagy and her husband, Melvin, of Harrisville; 13 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, and five great-great-grandchildren. One sister-in-law, Mary McKean of Delaware also survives.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; one daughter, Patricia Louise Sankey; and two brothers, Charles and Sammy McKean.

CRAIG — The family of Louise J. Craig, who passed away Thursday, July 11, 2013, will receive friends from 1 p.m. until the time of the service at 2 p.m. Monday at the Cunningham Funeral Home, 306 Bessemer Ave., Grove City. The Rev. Willard Morse will officiate. Burial will be in Epiphany Cemetery, Boyers.Memorial tributes may be made to the VNA Inpatient Hospice, 115 Technology Drive, Butler, PA 16127.
