Henry Leslie Johnson Jr.
Henry Leslie Johnson Jr., 90, of Renfrew passed away at 7:25 a.m. Wednesday in the VA Butler Healthcare Hospice.
He was born July 3, 1923, in Ashland, Ky., to the late Henry Leslie Johnson and Ethel (Woolridge) Johnson.
Mr. Johnson worked as a mechanic at Butler County Ford for 25 years.
He was a veteran of the 101st U.S. Army Airborne, serving in World War II.
Mr. Johnson is survived by his wife, Imogene (Chambers) Johnson, who he married on May 13, 1947; two daughters, Suzan Ball and her husband, Ed, of Waco, Texas, and Polly Brookbank of Butler; one son, Steve Johnson of Renfrew; five grandchildren; six great-children; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one infant son, two sisters and one brother.
