Robert M. Campbell Sr., 77, of East Brady passed away Tuesday at the VNA Inpatient Hospice.

He was born Sept. 15, 1935 in New Philadelphia, Ohio, the son of the late William and Leonore (Karns) Campbell.

Bob was a member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church in Chicora and was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps, having served in the Korean War. He loved to fish, hunt and was a great marksman. His wife was his best friend and fishing buddy. He was also a member of the Masonic Argyle Lodge in Chicora.

Surviving are his wife, who he married July 12, 1957, Betty (Domhoff) Campbell; two daughters, Kathy J. (Steven) Hiles of Chicora and Cheryl (Ed) Bookamer of Ellwood City; one son, Robert M. (Lori) Campbell Jr. of East Brady; six grandchildren, Carissa (Stephen) Huey, Jennifer (Shawn) Maley, Steven Hiles Jr., Natalie Hall, Brandy (Michael) Molloy and Craig Jamie Campbell; four great-grandchildren; and one sister, Diana (Ronald) Karenbauer of Chicora.

CAMPBELL — Services for Robert M. Campbell Sr., who died Tuesday, July 9, 2013, will be private. Interment is at St. John's Church Cemetery.
