Gregory Michael Orihel

Gregory Michael Orihel, 59, of Summerville, S.C., passed away Monday at the Summerville Medical Center.

Greg was born on Feb. 4, 1954, in Butler, a son of the late Joseph Nicholas Orihel and Hazel (Rodgers) Orihel.

Greg was retired from the U.S. Navy.

He was a member of the St. John the Beloved Catholic Church where he served as a Eucharist minister. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and the outdoors.

Surviving are his wife, Veronica T. (Beitch) Orihel; one brother, Nicholas V. Orihel of Sandpoint, Idaho; and aunt and uncle, Betty and John Homa of Butler.

Orihel — A memorial Mass for Gregory Michael Orihel, who passed away Monday, July 1, 2013, will be at 9 a.m. Tuesday, July 9, 2013, at the St. John the Beloved Catholic Church, Summerville, S.C.

Arrangement were entrusted to the JAMES A. DYAL FUNERAL HOME, Summerville, S.C.
