Jeannette boy dies after being parents' best man
JEANNETTE — The terminally ill 2-year-old Western Pennsylvania boy who served as his parents’ best man has died.
His mother Christine Swidorsky Stevenson says on her Facebook page that little Logan Stevenson died in her arms at 8:18 p.m. Monday at the home she shared with the boy’s father, and her new husband, Sean Stevenson. The couple were wed at a ceremony at their home on Saturday.
A family spokeswoman, Sylvia Johnson, confirmed the boy’s death this morning.
The boy, who had leukemia and other complications, was dressed in a tan pinstripe suit and orange shirt for Saturday’s 12-minute ceremony.
His mother says on Facebook, “He is with angels and he’s in no more pain.”
