Ronald Budisky

Ronald E. Budisky, 75, of Harmony died Monday in the Evergreen Nursing Center, Harmony.

Born July 10, 1937, in New Kensington, he was the son of the late Emil and Mary Hedec Budisky.

Ron was a member of the St. Peter's Lutheran Church, Evans City.

He was a maintenance worker for Westinghouse.

He was an avid bicyclist, had formerly been very active in baseball in the Zelienople area and was an enthusiastic Pirates fan.

He was a member of the Tyrian Lodge 644 F&AM. He was also a member of Scottish Rite of Coutersport.

He was a veteran of the U.S. Army.

Survived by his wife, Eilene Frishkorn Crider Budisky, who he married May 18, 1973; one son, Daniel (Jennifer) Budisky of Zelienople; one stepson, Ronald (Tamra) Crider of Prospect; and five grandchildren, Tyler, Levi and Bella Budisky and Aaron and Dominick Crider.

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Eleanor Swiklinski Budisky, in October of 1968; one daughter, one stepson, and a granddaughter.

Budisky — The family of Ronald E. Budisky, who died Monday, July 1, 2013, will receive friends from 1 to 3 and 6 to 9 p.m. Friday at the A. Carl Kinsey-Ronald N. Volz Funeral Home, 114 W. Spring St., Zelienople. Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home with the Rev. David Saylor, his pastor, officiating.The Harmony Lodge 429 F&AM will hold Masonic services at 5:45 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.If desired, memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, Western Region, 320 Bilmar Drive, Pittsburgh, PA 15205-4620, or to the St. Peter's Lutheran Church, 202 Van Buren St., Evans City, PA 16033.
