Kay Wardle

Kay (Daum) Wardle, 74, of Butler passed away Sunday at Butler Memorial Hospital.

She was born April 27, 1939, in New Castle, the daughter of the late H. Carl and Zella (McCandless) Daum.

Kay was the senior queen of her 1957 Class of Butler High School. She had belonged to the Westminster Presbyterian Church.

Kay had worked as a hostess at Natili’s Restaurant for more than 30 years. She had retired as a bookkeeper from Bonnett Murphy Dental Associates.

Kay enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, but especially with her grandchildren.

Surviving are three daughters, Terri (Richard) Bonnett of Butler, Linda (Stephen) Graham of Butler and Carla Wardle of Gibsonia; six grandchildren, Jennifer Bonnett of Los Angeles, Calif., Trent Bonnett of Boardman, Ohio, Jennings and Madison Graham of Butler and Domenica and Marcus Wardle of Leechburg; two sisters, Leah Rae (Kenneth) McCafferty and Dee (Harvey) Richardson, both of Butler.

She was preceded in death by her son, Bradley G. Wardle, who died Dec. 4, 2011.

WARDLE — Friends of Kay (Daum) Wardle, who passed away Sunday, June 30, 2013, will be received at the Young Funeral Home, 127 W. Jefferson St., Butler, from 6 to 9 p.m. Wednesday.
