CONNOQUENESSING TWP — The 65th annual Butler Farm Show runs Monday through Aug. 10 at the Butler Farm Show grounds, Route 68.

The midway will open at 4 p.m. Monday and at 1 p.m. Tuesday through Aug. 10. Show activities usually begin at 9 a.m. each day.

Rides are included in the price of admission, which is $6 on Monday and $8 the rest of the week.

Butler native Rue Snider will perform in concert at 7 p.m. Sunday at the Butler Little Theatre, One Howard St.Currently of Brooklyn, Snider will perform a blend of Americana, country and indie-folk from his band's forthcoming album “Alone Again Relax.”Admission is by donation. The concert if for adults only.

BUTLER TWP — Sing Hosanna! will present its dinner theater featuring the show “Just Desserts,” an audience participation mystery comedy, at noon and 5 p.m. Aug. 17 at the South Butler Fire Hall, 98 Old Plank Road.Performers will include Dale Reimer, Lorraine Martin, Trish Canedy, Jayson Reppart and Rod Gasch.Cost is $20 for adults and $7 for children age 10 and younger.Reservations are required by Aug. 13.
