Gertrude M. (McCutcheon) “Gert” Getsay, 77, of Harmony passed away Wednesday while under the care of UPMC Passavant Hospital in Cranberry Township.

Born on Sept. 11, 1935, in Mercer, she was the daughter of the late Archie and Dorothy (Greggs) McCutcheon.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory, her two loving children, Carolyn Hogan of Mississippi and James Getsay of Harmony; her three loving granddaughters, Ashley Getsay, Jasmine Cook and Jessica Wojtasik, and her precious great-grandson, Silas.

In addition to her parents, Gert was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 25 years, Gustave Getsay, who she married on April 2, 1955.
