Mary V. “Madge” Stewart, 88, of Butler died Wednesday at Butler Memorial Hospital.

She was born Jan. 22, 1925. She was the daughter of the late Nettie Baker.

She was a homemaker.

Surviving are four sons, William (Mary) Stewart of North Carolina, Gerald (Linda) Stewart of Butler, David (Terri) Stewart of Butler and Donald Stewart of Butler; one daughter, Mary (Bob) Philips of Butler, and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by a son, Ronald, and a grandson, Gerald.

STEWART — Friends of Mary V. “Madge” Stewart, who died Wednesday, June 26, 2013, will be received at the Geibel Funeral Home, 201 E. Cunningham St., Butler, from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday. Interment will take place at Butler County Memorial Park.Information also is available at www.geibelfuneralhome.com.
