Linda Maziarz, 69, of Kittanning passed away peacefully Tuesday at her home surrounded by her loving family.

She was born Dec. 30, 1943, in Meadville, Pa., to Walter and Minnie Lawyer.

Linda spent her younger years in Meadville and graduated from Meadville High School. She was a resident of Kittanning for the past 40 years and was a very active parishioner of the St. Mary, Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. Linda belonged to the Catholic Daughters of America and Sister of Saint Joseph Auxiliary, and she was also an RCIA instructor and served as an Eucharistic minister for over 10 years.

She enjoyed visiting casinos and playing the slots, and she also liked reading love story novels and just being with her husband. Linda's main love was spending time with her family. She was most proud of her sons and six grandchildren, and loved watching her grandchildren in all of their activities. Linda will be sadly missed but will live on forever in our hearts.

Her memory will be cherished by her loving husband of 48 years, Richard Maziarz; sons, Rick Maziarz and his wife, Amy, of Butler and Sean Maziarz and his wife, Jennifer, of Pickerington, Ohio; grandchildren, Tara, Derek and Peyton of Butler and Nathan, Hayden and Lindsey of Pickerington, Ohio; sister, Maggie Gray of Meadville; and many nieces and nephews.

Linda was preceded in death by her parents, brothers and two sisters.

MAZIARZ — Family and friends of Linda Maziarz, who passed away peacefully Tuesday, June 25, 2013, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at the Bauer Funeral Home, 515 N. McKean St., Kittanning.A funeral Mass will be at 12:30 p.m. Saturday at the St. Mary, Our Lady of Guadalupe, 101 W. High St., Kittanning, with the Rev. Douglas E.
